By accessing or using the Jarida Africa platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to enter into binding contracts to use the Service. By creating an account on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

Jarida operates as a neutral marketplace connecting shippers with verified carriers. We are not a carrier and do not own, operate, or maintain transport equipment. Contracts of carriage are formed between the shipper and the selected carrier; Jarida facilitates the match, dispatch, tracking, and settlement.

Carriers undergo a verification process including documentation review, insurance checks, and fleet validation. Shippers must provide accurate company details. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Rates are set via competitive bidding between carriers. Payment is processed via the platform upon proof of delivery. Jarida charges a service fee, disclosed at the time of booking. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jarida's liability is limited to the service fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or community standards. You may close your account at any time via your account settings or by contacting support.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Johannesburg unless arbitration is mutually agreed.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
