1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Jarida Africa platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Platform Use

Jarida Africa provides a marketplace connecting shippers with verified freight carriers. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to misuse the platform, submit false information, or circumvent any security measures.

3. Carrier Verification

All carriers on the platform undergo a verification process. However, Jarida Africa does not guarantee the performance or conduct of any carrier. Shippers are responsible for reviewing carrier profiles and bids before confirming a booking.

4. Payments and Fees

Payments are processed through the platform at the agreed rate. Jarida Africa charges a commission on completed jobs as disclosed at the time of booking. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as expressly stated in our refund policy.

5. Liability Limitation

Jarida Africa is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to cargo loss, delays, or carrier performance issues. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and software on the Jarida platform are the property of Jarida Africa (Pty) Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Johannesburg, South Africa.
